Thanks for being a friend of ours at www.socialgoodinsurance.com and Good Neighbor Insurance. You are the reason we do what we do…Offer the most affordable international health insurance plans to volunteers overseas, and offering insurance for non-profits and NGOs. We’ve worked as volunteers overseas ourselves with various faith-based charities and service organizations – Just like you. And we want to help those in NGO jobs and volunteering overseas, be successful, while staying safe.
Let us introduce you to a few of our friends. We can’t imagine working overseas without them! You should befriend them via the web, over the phone, or over a cold drink in Casablanca, or Quito, Ecuador. Some are great friends of ours. Others are simply great resources we just can’t help telling you about. Because it’s one more way to help and be a “Good Neighbor.”
Welcome. Be inspired. Then introduce yourself to some of our friends. Or introduce us to some of yours.

The Raja Ampat Research and Conservation Center (RARCC) is an NGO operating in the heart of Raja Ampat, Papua, Indonesia. Their aim is to work in conservation and community development efforts. They create alternatives to destructive livelihood gathering in the form of sustainable marine tourism industry initiatives. They work against bomb fishing, logging, and illegal fishing practices (turtle poaching, shark finning, and fishing in marine protected areas). They also work in education and awareness. Several local staff of RARCC and Papua Diving were involved in illegal logging, blast fishing, shark finning and turtle poaching before they were offered positions at RARCC. That experience helps RCRCC better understand and counter these truly international problems.
